BORN FREE 9!! Always our favorite event.. Mike & Grant put on a amazing show. This year they even added a rad race at Costa Mesa Speedway. The race went off without a hitch, awesome team and even more amazing track. Probably one of the nicest tracks we have encountered. Born free shenanigans always as usual, no reception, hot as hell, thousands of amazing bikes and smiles as far as the eyes could see. We sold out of almost everything we bring and people loved our new "Street Reaper" build. I appreciate everyone who came out and supported us at the races as well as the show!

Trackercross
The first ever Trackercross brought to you by myself was on April, 29th, 2017. I had one major goal with this event, make sure everyone leaves with a smile. I think I ended up achieving that. Today there a lot of people showing the motor world what "hooligan" racing is, no disrespect to them doing so.. but it has a different meaning from us here at Rusty Butcher. When we helped pioneer this weird little trend of a bunch of off the wall no body racing around on bikes we built in the garage. I want to always preserve that original feeling and have a "no stress" attitude with our races. This is to put the fun back in racing! I want to say thank you to all who attended this first event and I can't wait till the next one.

Our buddy Chase Stopnik new video with Mark Choiniere kills it.
We have been swap meet friends with the stopniks over the years, and I've always admired the way they present themselves and go about doing what they love to do. Its great to see dirtbags like us having fun and enjoying what we do for a living. If you don't know about Cycle Zombies you have cleary been on mars lately.

Born Free 7
Born free this year was insane. We all had a blast. I want to say thank you to my wife, Steve, Jon, Cory, and everyone else who helped out! The bikes this year were all stepped up to the next level. Started seeing a lot more "race shit" out there which was killer. Our boy Ryan Grossman killed it and won best in show, and now gets to go to Japan! Born free awarded me with "Best Competition" which I was honored to accept! Haha. I am very thankful to everyone who believes in what I do and stoked to meet everyone. Born free is THE biggest motorcycle show for us dirtbags, by far the biggest mix of ages and bike styles. Anything from Dynas all the way to WR race bikes. Thanks for supporting a dirtbag like me. Til next year...
